nixie clock endeavours
well i've been messing around with the nixie clock circuit, trying to do a final test of my driver circuitry before finishing out the case completely. i breadboarded a driver for a single digit of a single nixie, and the results were great: a logic 1 (+5vdc) at the bases of the MPSA42 transistors turned the nixie on, and a logic 0 at either location turned it off! :) those results are so good, i had to post some pictures: this test shows that my current design for driver circuitry is not flawed, and the nixie clock should work as predicted, once i get a chance to program it. :) ~ brad.
